Teen Podcast Project

Teen Podcast Project is the DMA's newest leadership program for teens, initiated in 2020. Members of the Teen Podcast Project work together to create the DMA's first podcast, inspired by Dallas's art scene and the stories participants find along the way. Participants cultivate research, critical thinking, and collaboration skills through their work in the project, and are entrusted as storytellers of the institution. Members of the Teen Podcast Project may serve up to two years in the Teen Podcast Project to ensure a regular rotation of voices and perspectives represented in the podcast.

Teen Podcast Project members commit to a year of service, and meet twice a month on Thursday evenings to work on projects.

Applications for the 2022–2023 Teen Podcast Project will be accepted August 2 through September 10, 2022. Click here for the application.

How do I apply?

Applications are available online starting on August 2; click here for the application form. If you aren't able to apply online or if you need additional support, contact us at teens@dma.org or 214-922-1822.
