Teen Advisory Council

The DMA Teen Advisory Council (TAC) is a volunteer group of high-school–age leaders who shape the direction of how the Museum engages teens and youth audiences. Founded in 2013, the TAC works closely with DMA staff members, local artists, and community leaders to plan programs, events, and other experiences for teens across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.

Members of the Teen Advisory Council direct all aspects of our annual Teen Night and Teen Renaissance student art exhibition, and lend their point of view to Museum initiatives. Council members commit to a year of service, and meet twice a month on Thursday evenings to work on projects.

Applications for the 2022–2023 Teen Advisory Council will be accepted August 2 through September 10, 2022. Click here for the application.

How do I apply?

Applications are available online starting on August 2; click here for the application form. If you aren't able to apply online or if you need additional support, contact us at teens@dma.org or 214-922-1822.

You will be asked to provide contact information for yourself and your caregiver, and a personal reference. You will also provide answers to three short-answer questions.
