Arturo's Preschool
Arturo's Preschool is a free program for preschool, homeschool, and daycare groups serving children ages 3–6. Take an up-close look at a work of art, read a featured picture book, and try out games and movement activities connected to artworks. Then explore ideas with an art-making activity. In the 2022–2023 school year, preschool experiences will be offered in three formats: in-person classes, pre-recorded videos, and pre-made art kits.
Arturo's Preschool: Pre-Recorded Videos
Programs are virtual, but the fun is real! Our pre-recorded video option is a flexible format that you can implement at your convenience. Upon receiving your request, we will share a link to a video version of your chosen program along with a list of recommended supplies for the art-making activity. Videos range in length from 12 to 25 minutes and include stories, games, artful conversation, and a demonstration of an art-making activity. Pre-recorded programs are available beginning September 19, 2022.

Arturo's Preschool: Art Kits
Arturo's Preschool Art Kits are pre-made with all the materials your students need to create an art project in the classroom or at home. Created with preschoolers in mind, art kits contain easy to use materials that will inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence. DMA staff will deliver these free art kits to schools within Dallas city limits. Art kits are available beginning September 19, 2022.

Arturo's Preschool In-Person Classes take place on-site at the DMA. This is a free program for preschool, homeschool, and daycare groups serving children ages 3–6. Take an up-close look at a work of art, read a picture book, and try out games and movement activities connected to artworks. Then explore ideas with an art-making activity in the Art Studio. In-person classes are available beginning September 20, 2022.
